Cheap Movie Downloads

Cheap MP3s aren't the only thing you can now download legally from the Internet at a price you may not have thought possible.

Nope, you'll be interested to find out that you can now download cheap movies from specialist sites that allow you download the latest movies for as little as $1.00 (that's about 60p). Most offer these films in multiple formats so you can watch them on an iPod or from a DVD, for example.

Anyway, we currently know of 2 such sites, so we have provided some reviews of these below...

The first thing you'll notice when you go to MovieBerry is the design - it's amazing and they have obviously spent a lot of time on it, especially as it changes often to promote the latest movies.

But anyway, you're not that interested in the aesthetics, you want to know about price! You'll be pleased to know that if you want to download movies for your iPod, it will only set you back $1.00. And it doesn't get much dearer for DivX formats either (which you'll want to buy if you want to burn the movie to DVD or watch it on your computer) as that only costs $1.50 (about £0.90).

To be honest, we much prefer Movie Berry over ZML (see below) because of the transparent pricing structure, as well as the nicer user-experience. Another great feature of Movie Berry is that they allow you to download previews of the file you are interested in, even before registering as they are so confident you will be happy with the quality they provide.

This site works like the MP3 websites in the fact that to buy movies you have to top up your account with credit, but you can do this for as little as $20.

One last thing you would probably be interested in is the fact that they also have a large archive of TV shows which are available for download too. The prices are really good for these to, being half the price of movies (so that makes 50¢ for iPod format, and $1.50 for DivX).

The first thing you need to know about ZML is that they run on a subscription service, meaning that their charge is $29.90 per month (approximately £18), after regstering for $0.99. This may sound a lot (and compared to MovieBerry, is kind of is) but as a sign-up bonus they credit your account with enough money to download 10 movies.

So if you want to get 10 movies for 99¢, all you have to do is register with ZML, download your movies, and then cancel your subscription (which is easy enough to do, just follow the link at the bottom of every page of their site).

The other reason you may want to use ZML over MovieBerry is the fact that they have a larger archive of movies, with over 10,350 films available to download, and it's growing.

As with MovieBerry, ZML also have a good range of TV shows at good prices.

I should give credit to Buy Cheap Movies for the inspiration for this page (that sounds a bit heavy doesn't it!) as they were the ones that reviewed these sites first.
